Life on your terms
I am a Mother
After 6 years of trying to conceive, I got pregnant through IVF with our oldest son Roark. When Roark was a baby he didn’t develop in the normal way babies do. He has an autism diagnosis, global development delays and a cortical vision impairment. He is non verbal, has a wheelchair, is learning to walk and still wears diapers. After genetics testing, therapy and many conversations, my husband and I decided to do IVF again and I got pregnant with Samson. I have chosen motherhood on my terms, working with doTERRA allows me to have a career that I love and be available for my boys when they need me.
I am a Wellness Advocate
I grew up in the woods, you could often find me exploring our 70 acres on foot or on cross country skis. I have a passion for the solutions nature provides. From a hike to using 100% pure essential oils I believe in the power of plants.
My six years of TTC was a healing & wellness journey. I discovered the power of yoga; I cried, I let go, I broke through limiting beliefs on my mat. I learned yoga could create space in my mind to be present, not obsessing about the future or focusing on past failures and disappointments. I discovered how complimentary therapies including acupuncture, Reiki, hypnotherapy and naturopathic medicine could support me. I eliminated the toxins from our home. I stopped using perfumes and fragrances. In my second pregnancy I discovered doTERRA Essential Oils. I was immediately struck by their quality. There are many ways oils work, from natural cleaning, immunity support to sleep support; the possibilities are endless.
I am a Teacher
My mother always told me I should be a teacher. It's true, I love to empower people to discover their own solutions and connect with their inner wisdom. I've been teaching since I was a teenager, from swimming lessons, to yoga, to how to use essential oils teaching is my calling.
As empath, I understand energy and I am adept at relating to people's struggles and challenges.
My Gallup Strengths are Relator, Achiever, Maximizer, Self-Assurance and Communication.
I have a Commerce Degree from Dalhousie University and a Masters in Publishing from Simon Fraser University. After a successful career in Book Publishing, I moved home to Prince Edward Island in 2013. I started educating people about doTERRA essential oils in 2015. I love helping people fall in love with their oils to feel empowered with the solutions they provide.
I am a Soul Led leader
I choose a doTERRA business because of the natural solutions doTERRA provides for my family. Working with doTERRA has allowed me to design a career that works with my family and allows me to accomplish my goals.
